Why is there no sound coming from my tablet?

Why is there no sound coming from my tablet? I'm trying to watch a video but there is no sounds coming from the speakers. I've tried turning the volume up all the way, but there is still no sound coming from the tablet.

If your tablet is not playing sound and you've checked the volume level, there might be something blocking the speakers.
