Doesn't seem to be getting water?

Doesn't seem to be getting water? All of a sudden my dishwasher doesn't wash. At the end of the wash and dry the soap is lying on the bottom. Is this something easily repairable?

check the float in the dish washer. sometimes spoon or other stuf fall through racks and fall under the float raising it, or some times floats gets stuck in up position which prevents water from filling the DW
