My dyson was working, lost power and smelt like it was burning why would it slow down with power and smell like something’s burning?

Look at your motor ‘s carbon.. i Ve just disassemble my dyson, smell like burn , but it’s broke carbon powder.

ive had the same situation before with my parents theres a band somewhere it must have damaged or is needing replacement
