Phone keeps switching on and off, stays off. What should I do?

Phone keeps switching on and off, stays off. What should I do? My phone just switched off in the middle of a call and won't switch on now. When I try and switch it on, I just see the Google logo and then it turns off again. How do I switch it on again?

Replaced the battery and that fixed it. But be careful. The battery will catch fire if shorted.

Take the fuckong battery cover off and literally flick the back of it right where the power button is a few times and press it at the same time on and off and you will see when it powers up then stop flicking it. Guaranteed to work 100%

"I too had the same problem which I fixed myself.

It the problem with Power Button. Due to multiple ON/OFF or some moisture it is internally shorted, which means Power Button is always in ON state.

You need to de-solder it. and replace with working power button.
