What do I do if my phone is continually running slow?

What do I do if my phone is continually running slow? My phone is a couple years old and it is starting to slow down drastically. Sometimes apps take a while to load and messages and emails take longer to send. I figure that it could be from all of the information stored on my phone but I'm not sure. Is there anything I can do to increase my phone speed?

Use some cleaning tool to remove cache and junk files from your iPhone. And restart your cell phone when it is very slow. It's my personal experience. lol

That is an older phone. All you can really try that will REALLY help is to do a factory wipe. It worked for my brothers casio gz'one. That phone has a very bad processor in it so i am glad i did the reset.

Root and delete the bloatware, I think towelroot may work.

All three of these have options to automatically clean/hibernate. Greenify can create a shortcut for you to manually put apps to sleep. I'd take a few minutes to play with them and see how they work for you. They are all available for free. :)
