Can you fi loose wiring at the headset?

Can you fi loose wiring at the headset? got a sades 7.1 HD gamer headset and the wiring at the headset is loose and it sounds really weird now while playing. i am an admin in-game and we use ventrillo and it distortsthe sound from game to ventrillo....and makeseverything so sad sounding. areyou able to fix these??
