Ice maker not making ice; noise coming from inside; ice cream melting Two days ago my ice maker suddenly stopped making ice. The fridge is about 8 years old so no warranty of course. I noticed that there is some water pooling in the ice cube tray…not a lot, but enough I have to be careful when I take the tray out and dump it. The ice cream also seems soft. The temp is set to -4. The fridge is set to 34.
