Many Metrobank accountholders who have online banking account or phone banking account are having trouble in updating or changing their mobile number registered to that account.

  • Simple, you must go to any Metrobank branch.
  • Bring your Metrobank Debit Card and government-issued ID (valid ID).
  • And request for update or change of mobile number.
  • A Metrobank employee will then process your request, fill-up some papers and then you'll be told to wait for few days.
  • Your online banking account will have an updated mobile number after that.
  • Then, you will be able to receive OTP to your preferred (new) mobile number when you login, transfer funds or transaction in your mobile banking app.
So, that's the secret solution you should do that Metrobank doesn't care to provide in their website or in their mobile banking apps.

i used my mobile number here in the United Arab Emirates to use metrobank online banking, sad to say i did not receive any sms to for OTP.

my question is, how can i change the mobile number through online since i am currently working here in the UAE.

please advise ASAP.

I am a holder of metrobank master cards but my cellphone got lost long time ago so i cannot retrieve OTP everytime i transact online using my master card.
