The National Association for Early Childhood Educators will hold the
National Seminar on "Laro, Laruan, Palaruan" Engaging the Child in
Effective Methods of Learning from April 29 to May 1, 2011 at the Cherry
Blossoms Hotel, No. 550 Jorge Bocobo Ext., Ermita, Manila.
The aim of this activity is to make Early Childhood Education (ECE) accessible to all Filipino children to enable them to become creative, caring, productive, disciplined, patriotic, and God-loving citizens of the Philippines and of the world.
The objectives of the seminar-workshop are to:
- stimulate professional leadership, improve practices and rekindle the passion for ECE among administrators, teachers, and other early childhood education stakeholders of public and private schools; and
- update the preschool teachers on appropriate strategies using the integrated and thematic approaches of teaching preschool to enhance the developmental learning areas; and
A seminar fee of Three Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP3,500.00) which includes seminar kit, souvenir program, certificate, lunch and snacks shall be charged to each participant. The membership fee is Five Hundred Pesos (PhP500.00) while the renewal fee is Three Hundred Pesos (PhP300.00).
