The Southeast Asian Institute of Educational Training, Inc. in cooperation with the University of Science Malaysia will conduct the 2012 International Seminar on Mathematics and Science Education with the theme " Strengthening Pedagogy in Science and Mathematics Education in Southeast Asia” on the following dates and venues in the Philippines and Malaysia:

The Seminar aims to: - review the different approaches used in schools all over Southeast Asia;
- strengthen the teachers’ pedagogical skills in Science and Mathematics;
- explore the approaches and strategies in teaching Science and Mathematics;
- introduce the scientific basis of incorporating climate and environment in the curriculum; and
- develop appropriate tools and materials in teaching Mathematics and Science.
For every schedule and venue in the Philippines, each participant shall be charged a registration fee of Four Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty Pesos (PhP4,880.00) inclusive of lunch (3), snacks (5), seminar materials, bags, and certificates. A discounted fee of Four Thousand Four Hundred Pesos (PhP4,400.00) maybe availed by each early registrant through bank deposit to the Metrobank under the account name of Southeast Asian Institute with Account No: 0007522909765.
