The Philippine Home Economics Association (PHEA) will hold its First In-Country Training for Standard-Based K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum
for the Mentors of Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan -Technology for Livelihood Education (EPP-TLE) with the theme Preparing the TLE-EPP Teachers for the Education Blueprint of the 21st Century
on August 10-11, 2013 at the Plaza del Norte, Ilocos Norte.
The Training aims to:
- update the participants/delegates with the latest local and international trends in vocational and technical education;
- prepare them with the challenges on the standardization of the Asian Educational Community in 2016; and
- equip them with the techniques and strategies needed in attaining the educational goals of the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum.
The participants to this activity are EPP and TLE teachers, coordinators, head teachers (HTs), master teachers (MTs), principals and supervisors from both public and private schools.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
