How do I fix broken memory card slot in camera?
I had to clean the entire inside of my camera because the battery melted. I ordered a new one and tried it tonight after cleaning both slots, the battery slot and the memory card slot. I used a sterilizer to do so as carefully as i could with out damaging anything. However I might have dislodged a small piece inside the memory card slot, because afterward the camera continually kept asking me to "insert SD card again" and to "Try another card" When before I cleaned it, the card worked perfectly. I am concerned I might have broken something. I am hoping it just needs to dry out from the cleaning and just hasn't finished. However I shall test it again tomorrow and see for final results. If it still is the same as tonight. How to I repair the card slot? Where should I send the camera to fix it? I need to have this done right away since I am going to the snow and need my waterproof camera with me.
