Why won't my 2ds read cartridges?

Why won't my 2ds read cartridges? No matter what game I put in it, the device won't read it. It will play downloaded games, however.

i tried entering miitopia but wouldn’t work tried ALL my cards not working

Try Cleaning it regularly, Forced air worked for mine otherwise you might need a new one.
