Soundbar will not work with Vizio D3-D41.

I just purchased a Meidong Soundbar for my HDTV. While the audio plays using RCA cables on a 20 year old Bose CD player’s speaker, I can’t get it on the Soundbar. I tried it with 2 separate just out the box speakers.
