Why is my refrigerator not cooling but my freezer is working

What is the model number of the refrigerator?

Can you hear the evaporator fan operating in the freezer compartment? (not the condenser fan which is on the outside of the refrigerator compartments).

If you can’t hear the evaporator fan (fan runs when doors are closed but stops when a door is opened) it may be either faulty or is iced up.

You need to remove the panel at the back of the freezer compartment to check if the evaporator unit (and fan) is iced up or not.

If it is not iced up the fan may be faulty.

If it is iced up there may be a problem with the defrost heater or the defrost thermostat.

If you can hear the evaporator fan operating with the doors closed (and stopping with a door open) then there may be a problem with the damper not allowing cold air into the refrigerator compartment."
