(or Tax Credit Fraud) is a bogus transaction of offering tax credits to an individual, organization or ghost company/firm. Under this scam, a government agency refunds payment on taxes that were actually never paid or giving tax credits to some companies/businesses that never existed or had stopped operations.

Depending on the actions done by those who are accused of tax credit scam, they would violate laws related to anti-graft and corrupt practices, frauds, and falsifications.
