In this connection, this Office issues the following guidelines and procedures in the screening of the Fourth Year high school student-applicants of CHED/TESDA scholarship programs who will take the NCAE:
- Consider the top ten percent (10%) students from each secondary high school regardless of the school size;
- These students should have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of eighty percent (80%) in the Third Year and should come from a family whose gross annual income is Three Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhP300,000) or below;
- A letter of intent signed by the parents of the examinees must be submitted signifying that they are interested to apply for the CHED/TESDA scholarship;
- Interested Fourth Year students, out-of-school youth (OSY) and A & E Test passers can take the test provided that the requirements in Item b are met;
- Utilize the prescribed format below in the preparation of the list of the Fourth Year NCAE examinees (Excel format).
