Why don’t my USB ports work on my monitor?

Why don’t my USB ports work on my monitor?

I want to use my USB ports on my monitor for like restoring phones in iTunes and all of that stuff. Can I do that?

"Hi,

As long as the monitor’s USB ports’ input connections are connected to the computer the USB out ports are the same as if they were mounted in the computer itself.

What is the make and model number of the monitor? There should be a USB In port to connect to the desktop via a USB or proprietary cable on the monitor somewhere (check near the video cable connection) as well as the USB Out ports that you can connect the phones to.

Hi,

You need to connect the desktop to the monitor with a USB C cable.
