Why does my drone go backwards

Why does my drone go backwards When I start flying my drone it drifts backwards when it should just hover in one spot whys that and how can I fix it?

I managed to repair my kid drone by spraying electric contact spray onto battery contacts. Drone was flying constantly backward before that, and when the battery was low drone is flying backward again.
